holding on to bliss
Feb. 27th, 2008 08:35 amI have been able to maintain the quiet and gentle state of bliss that I brought home from Kripalu.
Holding bliss despite some very challenging projects.
Holding bliss despite a bout with the 'flu that left me tired and coughing.
Holding bliss despite snow, rain and cloudy days.
mmmm.
The 'flu brought spring cleaning to a near halt. I did manage to tidy my studio enough that I can work at my table again. When I couldn't clean, I meditated on renewal. It's the increasing sunlight on the bare tree branches that triggers my frenzy of spring cleaning. I want to bring in that freshness, that state of anticipation. I am driven to acknowledge that which is done, that which didn't work out the way I hoped, and keep moving forward. I am ready to fold up the dark and musty mantle of grief, knowing that love and grief are separate. I will always love.
