The Gratitude Project - Reflecting on the past week

Did you miss me? I was in the Berkshires for a week, and took a brief detour into southern Vermont. I've been scribbling down my gratitudes on scraps of paper all week, and now will share them with you. I may have them slightly out of order, but vacation is not a time to be minding the calendar or clock.

August 23 - I am grateful for a safe and uneventful arrival, and good pizza at APK.

August 24 - The cottage is sweet, hidden in plain sight in Lenox village. I bought yarn to knit a pair of socks. Dinner at Bistro Zinc is always a joy.

August 25 - Things have changed just enough to be exciting, but not enough that I am totally lost in Lenox. The nights are cool, and autumn is in the air.

August 26 - Great Barrington is sadly different, and too many antiques shops are closed on Tuesdays. Thankfully, the bagel shop is a good as ever.

August 27 - I did not see a moose in Vermont, but the foliage is starting to turn.

August 28 - Kripalu. This is my spiritual home. I met one of the crows who serenaded my Reiki attunement earlier this year. What a brash and sassy bird!

August 29 - Tanglewood is a gem. Beautiful jazz nestled among the trees is an incomparable joy.

August 30 - Another safe journey. My own bed is like a nest.

August 31 - it's good to be back home again.
