Two things: Cat Matins (Misty was nun in former life): She purrs loudly, paddles on pillow & paws my face, at 5.30 in morning. I paw her back; she paws some more. I hide my head under duvet. Purring soars.
And so on, until, of course, I rise...
The other thing is The Rug Game. I shake rugs every day or so & replace them, neatly & very flat.
Misty does not approve. Rug as obstacle course? It's a mad cat thing & she is very good at it. (I watch my step ~ I'm getting very good at that...)
