Full Moon Musings
Jul. 21st, 2005 09:16 pmI have no magical workings planned for tonight's Esbat. This will be a time to reflect, celebrate, and honor Luna.
For, I am still chewing my way through the new gift of prophetic dreams, and the responsibility that comes with this gift. So far, the dreams I have been given have suggested answers to the most pressing questions in my mind, and I am still working to bring insight and meaning to what I have been shown. I don't know, for one thing, if my gift of lucid dreaming, of being able to be both dirctor and player in my dreams, is an impediment to prophecy. Do I affect the outcome to suit my will? Do I have a clear sense of when the dream is running free and when it is self-directed? I want to be able to start a dream and then let it go, but all I have done so far is start out in a dream that is free, panic a bit, and then take control. Time. Meditation. Discipline. I will learn to use this gift over time.
