Spring cleaning. Cleaning in anticipation of spring.
In simpler days, it usually began with airing winter out of the house, and then washing and scrubbing everything with a vengeance.
I spent most of yesterday afternoon shredding paper. This is the age of too much information.
Now I can get on with the airing, washing and scrubbing. In a few weeks, it will be spring on the calendar, and the weather might be so kind as to agree.
I'm not thinking anything profound about the season. I am content to enjoy it and become it.

Also the realization that Spring is a time of steady change.
